Is shipping weed online safe?
Yes! There are dozens of online dispensaries located in Vancouver that are NOT operating under the federally-approved medical marijuana system. City Hall and VPD have allowed dispensaries to proliferate so people can safely access medicine, so long as there are no sales to minors or any gang affiliations.
Vancouver has honestly been shipping weed in the mail since the 90’s and to date, we know of no-one who has ever been charged with receiving pot in the mail.
Is your shipping service discreet?
Absolutely! We work hard to ensure that each and every customer feels totally secure ordering from West Coast Med, and we will earn your trust. First we double vacuum seal your order. This helps us be certain that there is no odor from your package. Next, we seal it in an envelop. Finally, we wrap it in a weatherproof plastic sleeve from Canada Post XPRESS.
This means your package is safe from the elements—and from nosy neighbors. Your package looks exactly the same as everything else on the Canada Post truck.
What are your hours?
We take orders 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. For shipping and customer service, the West Coast Med online store is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific Time. Please contact us during those hours for questions about your order.
How can I track my order/package?
We ship your orders with Canada Post. Every package is first confirmed, and then receives a tracking number. You’ll get that tracking number as soon as your order is finalized, and you can use it to track your package.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept Interac E-Transfer. Credit Cards are disabled until further notice due to chargebacks.
Now what?! My order came, but it was too big for my mailbox. What should I do?
Pursuant to Canada Post guidelines, any packages too large for mailboxes go to the closest Canada Post outlet. Check at the Canada Post outlet nearest to your home, office, or wherever your package was sent.
How soon will my package get here?
We ship everything using Canada Post post service. This means that most packages get where they are going within 3 to 5 business days. Canada Post delivery time does depend on your province, so be sure to check if you’re not sure!
Do I have to use my real name when placing an order?
Yes. Not only is your payment method verified, you need your real name in case your package doesn’t fit in your mailbox. When that happens, your package will be sent to your closest postal outlet, and you can only retrieve it with your real name.

What is the MedPoints System?
In order to incentivize returning customers to our online store, we created a discount system based on the dollar values customers purchase. Everything is arranged via your account on our website.
How do I get Med Points?
Every $1 spent on the site for confirmed orders = 1 Med Point. So if I buy something for $40, I get 40 points.
Example Usage of Med Points:
Let’s say I want a quarter of Fire OG. I place the item in my cart. I’ve spent $500 on the website. When I go to checkout, the website will prompt me if I want to apply points for a discount.
I decided to apply 400 points, saving me $4 off the product I want.
End Result: I saved $4 off my order, getting me a $66 quarter of Fire OG.
Med points apply to ALL products on the website (Except ones that are sold out or unless specified, but right now we see no reason not to include all our inventory on the med points system.)
Do I get points for the base price PLUS shipping or just the base price?
You get 1 med point per $1 spent on the website NOT INCLUDING shipping and handling. Unfortunately it costs a lot to ship across Canada and this always has to get paid, so we can’t include it in the points system. So if you get $50 worth of product with $20 shipping and pay $70, you will receive 50 Med Points to your account.
Do Med Points apply for the entire West Coast Med products?
Yes they do!
Do Med Points ever expire?
Do Med Points work on Variety Packs and Discounted/Sale items?
Yes they do! We still reserve the right to cancel redeeming points on any product. But we haven’t done it yet and doubt that we will in the future.
Where else can my Med Points work?
Med Points are only valid at westcoastmed.ca. Don’t try using them at BestBuy or anything. 😉
